Description

My husband and I hiked the Grand Canyons from the North rim to the South rim and this photo was taken as we crossed the mighty Colorado river, near Phantom Ranch. It was a majestic moment to hike this far, see this gorgeous bridge, connecting the two canyon walls, carved by the river over 2 billion of years. The Colorado river might seem a thin strip from the top of the canyon rim, but down here, she flows with full force about 30-40ft wide! Loved the hike and eternally in love with the Canyons.
