Description

My brother and I timed our visit to West Virginia to catch some peak color. One of the places we planned to visit was the beautiful Douglas Falls. It is located along the North Fork Blackwater River. The rust colored rocks along the river are from acid drainage from a mine established by Davis Coal and Coke Co in the late 1800s.
