Description

Reflections at Badwater Basin, Death Valley National Park. Badwater Basin in Death Valley National Park is the lowest point in North America, at 282 feet below sea level. Usually it is a dry salt flat, but rains turned it into a very shallow “lake,” less than two inches deep where you can see the ridges of dried salt. The water displayed colorful reflections right after sunset.
