Description

Red-Winged Blackbird on Lotus Seed Head. The blackbird flew from flower to flower to seed heads, which are presumably a good source of food. Kenilworth Park & Aquatic Gardens, which is next to the Anacostia River and has ponds, lotus flowers, and a marsh, is a great place to experience nature in urban Washington, D.C.
