Description

This photo was taken at Meysan Lake, Eastern Sierra, California. I have been to this lake a few times to climb surrounding peaks. This was the first time I noticed this spot on a small creek. The sunrise was amazing. We were lucky that there was some clouds. After enjoyed the sunrise, we quickly finished our breakfast. Then, we started to climb Mount Mallory. Four hours later, we were on the summit!

The solitude experience, nice sunrise photo and successful climbing made our day!
