Description

This past weekend, I decided to pay a visit to the San Bernard National Wildlife Refuge. It had been a few years since my previous visit, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The trip started out slow at fist, because I hardly saw anything. After about thirty minutes on the refuge, the wildlife started coming out from hiding. As I was driving the auto loop, I caught this picture of two crested caracaras; one perched in a tree and the other taking flight.
