Description

We applied for a permit to hike the Fiery Furnaces, a maze of canyons, arches and sandstone fins in Arches National Park. It ended up being our favorite part of the park. For a day, we played like kids; scrambling up sandstone pillars, squeezing into tight cracks and jumping over small rock fissures. We won't easily forget our day exploring this natural and awe-inspiring fiery red playground.
