Gray-headed Junco at the North Rim Gray-headed Juncos are a lesser known race of the Dark-eyed Junco family. As this was my first experience with them, I couldn't identify the bird at first. True to their Junco heritage, they like to scuffle along the ground looking for seeds and insects.
